+ThirstyMick
PK and I plan to attend. If there are 6 new caches between Garret & Rifle camp (we've found or own all the existing ones) the event will be his 1000th Quote Link to comment
+Packanack
I understand that they hid a couple of caches yesterday. I almost bumped into them on my way home yesterday. Avroair sent this E Mail. I had adopted that Sierra Bravo cache, but I think it is a canard to have me run out to try and get first to find. Nasty business this geocaching Some nice views from up there for those who haven't been there. "We hid 2 caches. One over in 'the middle' near Disney challenge, but closer to where the car was parked and a second over almost on top of Skibums old Sierra Bravo cache. =) We also squeezed three new ones into Rifle Camp" Quote Link to comment
+brian b
Too cold to go geocaching?!? hmmm . . . I haven't used that one yet. I will be there, looking forward to the hike (both Garrett and Rifle). (Is the organized hike for just Garrett . . . or will Rifle Park also be organized?!) Quote Link to comment

+Peconic Bay Sailors
We will do the pre-event caches... to get our #'s up for our dual #1000 with TwoCat on Sunday... all we need is 7 to get even with TwoCat now... along with the event cache... that will make us even... So Sunday will be a minimum of 4 caches... We just want to make #1000 at the same time... This has been planned between the TwoCat & us for a while... If our #'s came together... So far... it looks good!!! I posted this in another thread, but anyone who wants to join us on Sunday is welcome... Edited January 24, 2008 by Peconic Bay Sailors Quote Link to comment

avroair
The Bergen Record is gonna be there for the hike, it will be a self directed hike, meaning I give you the tudes and you go find em. There is also a Bada Bing! Coin for the event: Quote Link to comment
+DammitNanet
I really enjoyed this event - it was my first. It was good to see some familiar faces but meet some new ones too. Thanks Avroair for organizing this fun time! Quote Link to comment
+Old Navy
Another fun and well attended event. I spent the hike with a very pleasant news reporter, Meredith from the local Herald News. /Bergen record. They are writing a Geocaching article for Sunday's edition, so watch for it. We may see IMSpider's mug shot in the paper too... Also, it can be viewed on www.myheraldnews.com. Thanks Mark (Tony) for a "good time" On to the next event. Old Navy Quote Link to comment

+brian b
Any one notice that only three of the five "hitman" caches were published? Any idea if the other two are going to be? If you didn't make it, you missed a great day of hiking, caching, socializing, and eating. What more could a geocacher ask for? Quote Link to comment
+MountainRacer
They're all up now. The delay appears to have been because they were submitted by two different cachers, 'Tony' and dhenninger, and were approved in separate batches. You can log them all now.
