+Spungebob
I think the new maps are great, but I can't seem to find the 'show marker' tab. It would pinpoint the exact location of coordinates you typed in. It was great to double check the accuracy of caches you hide, and also to see for some mystery caches if you were in the ballpark. I think the new map features are a vast improvement, I was just wondering if they are working on this, or if I am missing something, or maybe this feature isn't that imperative. Link to comment
Keystone
The marker was causing the maps to "freeze up" on the screen, so it was removed. Link to comment
+Spungebob
Thanks for the reply. I will use Google Earth from now on. I just tried it, and it has the same feature, which is great for the more 'urban' caches. Link to comment
+BlessedBees
seems like every other topic is about maps. Can we get these consolidated? Link to comment
+trainlove
The marker was causing the maps to "freeze up" on the screen, so it was removed. How can something as simple as a crosshair cursor be the cause of such electronic headaches? Link to comment
+tomturtle
Wouldn't it be better to fix the problem instead of take away the feature? This was a feature I used when finding puzzle caches, because I could put in the puzzle solution coords and the show marker would point to where the puzzle cache really was. Is there any plan to actuall fix it and bring this feature back? Link to comment
