  1. In this age of a million caches, (pun intended), it is getting harder and harder to sort out the quality caches. There are some cachers I know that hide caches to my liking. Can I create a pocket query to search for only their caches? I tried to do it on the Profile "all caches" page by checking all of their caches I haven't found, but it is only in .loc format, which has no information. Is there a way to do this in .gpx format, which has all the info?
  2. I searched a little bit and found this. http://forums.Groundspeak.com/GC/index.php?showtopic=181979 It worked like a charm....Thanks!
  3. I have a 210 with the same problem. I just followed these procedures and it worked like a charm. It even retained my poi's that I had saved in it.
  4. When I power up my Explorist 210, its lights up and says "checking media" and just freezes on that screen. I have to pull out a battery to shut it off. It just locks up and pushing ANY buttons does not help. Has this happened to anyone?
  5. Thanks for the reply. I will use Google Earth from now on. I just tried it, and it has the same feature, which is great for the more 'urban' caches.
  6. I think the new maps are great, but I can't seem to find the 'show marker' tab. It would pinpoint the exact location of coordinates you typed in. It was great to double check the accuracy of caches you hide, and also to see for some mystery caches if you were in the ballpark. I think the new map features are a vast improvement, I was just wondering if they are working on this, or if I am missing something, or maybe this feature isn't that imperative.
  7. I don't know if this is the correct place to post this, or even if this worked, but I did a lot of shopping around when I first purchased my GPS so when I saw the ad I figured I would post it, because I would have appreciated it. Anyway, if anyone belongs to Costco, (It's like BJ's or Sam's Club), I just saw an offer in the flyer good until 10/29, for a 500LE WITH 3-D Topo software included for $199.99 delivered. Hopefully this may help someone.
