+Jackalgirl
Howdy, all -- I know that quite a few people use poker chips as swag, so I thought I might bring this article about a poker chip recall to your attention: PHOENIX - Arizona health regulators issued a warning Thursday about a popular brand of high-end poker chips that may contain high levels of lead. The warning about Paulson brand chips — used in many casinos and sold at retail to gamblers — came a day after ABC affiliate KNXV-TV in Phoenix aired a story about the potential contamination. ... The television station had 200 of the poker chips tested by a private laboratory, and swabs showed all had levels of surface lead exceeding the EPA limit of 0.06 percent. More than half maxed out the swab's 10 percent limit, which is more than 160 times the federal limit. Apparently, tho, the company that makes the chips released a statement that the chips have been "reformulated": The statement also said the chips have been reformulated and they now only contain trace amounts of lead well below applicable safety standards. I'm not sure that there's any reason to run out and panic in the streets, but I thought you'd be interested. Quote Link to comment

+Jeep_Dog
I don't put swag in my mouth. Not sure what you people do with your swag, but I am concerned about some of you who seem to do unsual stuff with your swag ... (actually, this is a good reminder, since some of us take along little yard primates who do manage to use swag in unusual ways - amazing what 5 & 2 year olds put in their mouths ) Quote Link to comment
