CenTexDodger
I just checked Garmin's site. On their map update page, they now list City Navigator 2008. The upgrade is available as a single region, and the upgrade is $75. Quote Link to comment
+jotne
This is the non-NT version for the older Garmin GPS. http://shop.garmin.com/cartography/mapsour...CD=010-10391-07 FAQ for non-NT and NT http://forums.Groundspeak.com/GC/index.php?showtopic=141608 Quote Link to comment

+Team_LPD
Okay.....when I enter may master coupon code it tells me....."This Master Coupon Code does not contain any Garmin units that currently have MapSource updates available. Garmin's Automotive MapSource applications are generally updated annually and the Bluechart software is updated twice a year. Please check back periodically to see if MapSource updates are available for your Garmin unit. Click here to return to the Master Coupon Code entry screen. : Huh? Quote Link to comment
+pcunningham
I had the same issue with my master coupon code. I called customer service and they sent me the update. Quote Link to comment

GeoidPS
I am totally not impressed. It doesn't have the new sections of I-95 Wilson Bridge/Franconia Interchange, doesn't have the new I-395/I-495/I-95 configurations, and doesn't have a clue on the Corridor H project. I give this a beanie blooper for the bingy jumpies. Quote Link to comment

I was looking at the existing version not realizing it was V8. Quote Link to comment
+jotne
What difference between "Single Region" and "All Region". thanks. Here in Europe you can get singel region preloded on some units, but when you buy the DVD, you get all regions. I do not think you can get single region in US Here is how its devided: (i do not have v2008, but I guess its the same) City Navigator North America NT v8 City Navigator North America NT v8 - Region 1 - North America (California) City Navigator North America NT v8 - Region 2 - North America City Navigator North America NT v8 - Region 3 - North America City Navigator North America NT v8 - Region 4 - North America City Navigator North America NT v8 - Region 5 - North America City Navigator North America NT v8 - Region 6 - North America City Navigator North America NT v8 - Region 7 - North America City Navigator North America NT v8 - Region 8 - North America City Navigator North America NT v8 - Region 9 - North America City Navigator North America NT v8 - Region 10 - orth America City Navigator North America NT v8 - Region 11 - North America City Navigator North America NT v8 - Region 12 - North America City Navigator North America NT v8 - Region 13 - North America City Navigator North America NT v8 - Region 14 - North America City Navigator North America NT v8 - Region 15 - North America City Navigator North America NT v8 - Region 16 - North America City Navigator North America NT v8 - Region 17 - North America (South East) It seems that regions are overlapping. City Navigator Europe NT v9 Region 1 - Aus/Switz/N.Italy/S.Ger/E.Fra Region 2 - France Region 3 - Germany/Czech Republic Region 4 - Italy/Greece Region 5 - Nordics Region 6 - Spain/Portugal Region 7 - UK/Ireland Region 8 - BeNeLux Region 9 - Northwest Region Region 10 - Eastern Europe Quote Link to comment
shivia
Thanks jotne. So, I want CN that covers US and Canada, I'll buy All Regions dvd. Quote Link to comment
+jotne
Yes. Or a GPS with all US preloaded, like Nüvi 660. I do not think its possible to buy single regions in US like the one in EU. Quote Link to comment
mikej2
Does anyone know if or when the City Nav viewer will be updated? There are a couple of streets I watch which were on an older version but somehow got lost in later versions of the product. I'm waiting to see if the steets show up on the new software before I upgrade, otherwise I may get the Topo software for offroad use and stumble along with my older street software until the missing streets reappear. Thanks for any previews or links or info, or just thanks regardless. Quote Link to comment

+TrailGators
I have V8 which I recieved last August in 07. Does this udate mean V9? or is this just a doctored up version of V8..? Capt. I could have had a V8! I have one question. Does anyone know if it is true that the NT version runs slower on GPSs because it is compressed more than the non-NT version? Quote Link to comment
shivia
For canadian residents, could you able directly order your upgrade dvd on the Garmin site? Or you should order it through your local dealer? Quote Link to comment

+myotis
You can call customer service and order the NT version now, but it is not shipping until the end of the month. They said for the 60CSX you should get the NT version. The upgrade is $69.99. Quote Link to comment
nXtIak
I posted about 2008 a couple months ago. It's been released already.
