+Just Roger Posted July 6, 2007 Posted July 6, 2007 I've been away on holiday and when I get back I find that the OS maps on cache pages have disappeared, the clickable link on the grid reference to get a 25000 OS map has gone and even the little X on the forum topics for 'Ignore Thread' has gone too. Are there any fixes for these available? Quote
Edgemaster Posted July 7, 2007 Posted July 7, 2007 I don't know about the OS maps, I'm going to try and roll out an update this week to improve on it. LordElph has a fix for his somewhere - http://files.dixo.net/geocachingforumtools.user.js Quote

+The Hancock Clan Posted October 10, 2007 Posted October 10, 2007 Have anyone else's greasemonkey scripts stopped working over the last couple of days? (The "OS Map Linker" is no longer there and the "OS Maps on cache pages" opens up at the grid reference SV 00000 00000 on all cache pages). Just checking to see if it is a geocaching.com update that's caused it before I start uninstalling & reinstalling & pulling my hair out! Quote
+Sue and Bernie Posted October 10, 2007 Posted October 10, 2007 My scripts all seem to be working normally. Quote
+The Hancock Clan Posted October 10, 2007 Posted October 10, 2007 My scripts all seem to be working normally. Thanks, I've reinstalled the scripts and Edgemaster's Enhanced OS maps on cache pages has returned to normal but for some reason I can't get the OS map linker to work. Strange how it occurred at the same time on the laptop too, must have been a firefox or greasemonkey update? I'll keep trying!... Quote
+dino-irl Posted October 10, 2007 Posted October 10, 2007 Could be down to the fact that they have been twiddling with the site over the last couple of days. The last time that happened IIRC the map script broke too. Quote
+SUp3rFM & Cruella Posted October 10, 2007 Posted October 10, 2007 If Groundspeak tweaks up geocaching.com and changes the layout and the structure of the pages some greasemonkey scripts will obviously stop working or working improperly. Wait for a couple of days so that the developers of the scripts can catch up the changes and update them. Quote
Edgemaster Posted October 10, 2007 Posted October 10, 2007 When I checked yesterday it was fine. And it appears to still be working correctly now. I have posted updates in the past month to v1.1.2. Quote
+ForsdykeFinders Posted October 10, 2007 Posted October 10, 2007 Hi I also seem to get the OS map centred on some place called Pilmuir SV00000 00000. I installed the update and restarted Firefox but it remains the same. Any ideas. If I right click on the monkey's head in the bottom right of the screen I can see that both the Geocaching Enhanced OS Map Substituter is ticked along with the Geocaching Map Linker. If I untick the Substituter, the Yahoo map that displays is correct. Quote

To check your current version: Right click the monkey icon Select manage user scripts Select the 'Geocaching Enhanced OS Map Substituter' (the end of this may be cut off) Check the version number in brackets near the top of the right half of the screen. I'd be interested to know which you currently have installed, and if v1.1.2, the cachepage on which the error happens. The latest version is available from this location. (check the description in the install dialog reads v1.1.2) Further questions about this script should be kept to its own thread. Edited October 10, 2007 by Edgemaster Quote
TheWeston's Posted October 10, 2007 Posted October 10, 2007 Well I had the same problem, showing pilmuir and upgrading to 1.1.2 solved it. Quote
