Izzy and the Lizard King
Yep! I was beginning to think it was me because I'd tried to run a new query on Tuesday 3rd and I have only recieved one of my daily PQ's since and that was Thursday 5th. Paul Quote Link to comment
dino-irl
Getting mine with no problems. I'd guess it's an email ISP issue. Who do you use for email? AOL or Yahoo by any chance? See this thread for more info on email ISP issues Edited April 7, 2007 by dino-irl Quote Link to comment
Stuey
I've been having a serious lack of PQ's for several days now. I have a different ISP to Terry, so I'd suggest it is a Groundspeak problem. Overloaded themselves again I expect. Quote Link to comment
Learned Gerbil
I have not had any since 4 April, including some that were run on 3rd, but not run again until 5th. The size is well under my ISP's attachment limit. I suspect it is a database issue, but it is alarming if a PQ won't run at all i na day even i it has not been run for several days. +Just Roger
None since the 3rd then 2 this morning which leaves me with a backlog of about 5 (ignoring duplicates) Note The standard reply on the forum of "It must be an ISP issue" is easy to check. Go to your pocket query page and the righthand column tells you the date last generated. It the gueries show 'last generated on 4/3' (that's 3/4 in proper English ) as in my case, it's no use blaming your ISP. Quote Link to comment
dino-irl
Strange that they are running for some people and not others? Just Roger's point about checking the last run date is a good one. Make sure you allow for time differences too Quote Link to comment
moggoly
The really annoying thing is that if you copy a PQ - it arrives in your inbox within 5 minutes. I've had one period of almost a week when none of my PQs have turned up. But then this afternoon - I got them. Methinks TPTB have been making some recent changes too - logging todays finds between 7and 8pm BST was really easy with no timeouts.... Quote Link to comment
The Cache Hoppers
Had this problem ... solved it this way. Go to http://www.geocaching.com/pocket/ then untick - retick the pq selection. This means the PQ is treated like a new one, and given priority. Quote Link to comment
wizard1974uk
Could there be a hole in your pocket? Quote Link to comment
moggoly
Had this problem ... solved it this way. Go to http://www.geocaching.com/pocket/ then untick - retick the pq selection. This means the PQ is treated like a new one, and given priority. Tried that, but it didn't work for me... Copying the PQs was the only way to get them to work. Quote Link to comment
gingerbreadmen
My PQs have been taking anything between 12 to 36 hours (if they arrive at all, that is). Today... 3 minutes! I was that surprised that I almost deleted it in error. AND I'm on AOL just to make it even more peculiar. Have things improved or was it a fluke? I'll let you know next week when I send my next one... Quote Link to comment
