+Hobo2
How can we set it up so us truckers can do more Geocaching? Can we set up a website just for truckers or what. It is hard to find caches where I can pull off the interstate with my big rig and not get into trouble. Can anyone help? Quote Link to comment

+Grumpster
GeoTruckers.com membership is up to 390+ and their are well over 1300 caches listed on the site. All of the caches are submitted to the list by members and cache owners. The group support has been fantastic. They even have a number of club caches placed and the members help each other to take care of caches when they can. Without the members of GeoTruckers.com I'd hardly ever be able to cache while on the road. Quote Link to comment
Keystone
Not a Geocaching.com website feature request or bug report. I am moving this thread to "Organized Geocaching." Quote Link to comment
+kevnjenn
If you pass through Arkansas on I-40, check out the Cache Across Arkansas (CAA) series. Type CAA in the waypoint search engine on geocaching.com or create a route if you are a premium member. Most of these are located on/near on-ramps/exits from the highway. Quote Link to comment
Uberquandary
Not a Geocaching.com website feature request or bug report. I am moving this thread to "Organized Geocaching." It would be if someone were to suggest adding a 'Trucker Friendly' attribute icon... Quote Link to comment
CoyoteRed
It would be if someone were to suggest adding a 'Trucker Friendly' attribute icon... I wouldn't trust that attribute. How many times have you asked for directions and you get something that is not exactly truck friendly? More than once I've been told to go through downtown where not only are big truck prohibited, but having to navigate the streets is a nightmare. Most non-drivers have no clue what it takes to get 70' of vehicle around town. No, a "Truck Friendly" attribute would be less than useless, it could get a few folks in a bind. Quote Link to comment
Uberquandary
I wouldn't trust that attribute. How many times have you asked for directions and you get something that is not exactly truck friendly? Every day. Three times just this morning. Actually, I drive a Subaru. They go just about anywhere. No trucker here. But I can see the dilemma. Quote Link to comment

Sad part is alot of times that kind of help comes over the CB. just goes to show you have to take everything with a grain of salt Quote Link to comment
