Luigi108
Anyone know what happened to the caches in Andrew Jackson State Park near Lancaster, SC. "A. J. 's Birth place", "Another A. J. Cache" and "A tribute to 911". I printed out a map with them when I first moved into the area a few weeks ago and now they are gone. Luigi Quote Link to comment
saopaulo1@hotmail.com
What's S.C.'s rules on caches in state parks? Quote Link to comment
+TheAlabamaRambler
I would first email the local Reviewer; if he/she doesn't know call the Ranger and ask him, then I would ask the local community forum... this international forum isn't likely to be much help! +medic208
I found 2 of those previously and according to the cache page for "A tribute to 911", the cache owner has moved away from the area and archived the caches. Quote Link to comment
+welch
They've been archived by the owner. A.J.'s birthplace Tribute to 911 Another AJ Cache There's a fourth archived one, Bear Creek Cache, and two that are still active. If you look at the Nov. 5th logs you should see a note saying he moved to AZ (like medic208 said ) and wants someone to adopt his caches. Quote Link to comment
+Deliveryguy428
email SC_R and will help you get started on the adoption of those caches Quote Link to comment
+wimseyguy
Not likely to happen if the caches have been archived. But now the space has been freed up for a new hider to put some there. Edited to add the Adoption FAQ linky Edited January 27, 2007 by wimseyguy Quote Link to comment

If he/she was willing to adopt them to, why don't you just fix up whatevers there and submit it as caches of your own. Or remove the pieces so they don't become unvisited geolitter . In the process of doing so. Just got back from out of state to discover they had been archived and were in question, so we'll take care of them. Quote Link to comment
