+Lignumaqua Posted August 24, 2006 Posted August 24, 2006 (edited) Title says it all - tried it in both IE and Firefox and the Google Map page always shows me as not logged in so never shows the caches I've found. Tried clicking the link, logging in again and returning to this page but it still doesn't work. All other pages are OK. If it's a cookie problem it's specific to this single page. I've started a new thread as this is different, I think, to the other more generic cookie problem posted. Mike Edited August 24, 2006 by Lignumaqua
+WhatTrail? Posted August 25, 2006 Posted August 25, 2006 I'm having the same problem. I just subscribed and because I'm not staying logged in can't see the premium caches. I can see my account and the caches I found, but when I go to Google Maps, I'm no longer logged in. Judi
Skippermark Posted August 25, 2006 Posted August 25, 2006 (edited) There's another similar post about this from earlier in the and several others are having the same problem. It worked for me this morning but quit working midday I think. I'm having the same problem with both IE & Opera. Edited August 25, 2006 by Skippermark
+Cache U Nuts Posted August 25, 2006 Posted August 25, 2006 Yup, it's happening to me as well. Seems to have broken on 8/24/06, afternoon I think.
+Pista Posted August 25, 2006 Posted August 25, 2006 I have the same problem! I just subscribed and I don't like these errors! Thanks.
+Lumpy_The_Great Posted August 25, 2006 Posted August 25, 2006 Yup, Same here. I notice that they have a new login page maybe that's the problem? I am logged in everywhere else but on the google maps page, really annoying.

Skippermark Posted August 25, 2006 Posted August 25, 2006 I have the same problem! I just subscribed and I don't like these errors! Thanks. There usually aren't many problems like this, so don't let it worry you. The website just underwent a semi major revision, and it will probably take a few days to get everything running smoothly again.

Mike They are showing the Google Map feature is in BETA..... which usually means.... do not distrub
+sTeamTraen Posted August 25, 2006 Posted August 25, 2006 Another micro-bug on the "Geocaching.com Google Maps" page: when there are exactly 20 caches, it says "page 1 of 2", even though page 2 is blank. Good old fencepost problems

+Mom the Cook & cashnhubby Posted August 25, 2006 Posted August 25, 2006 I am having the same problem and I have been a member since April 2006. It started yesterday. I could use any help.
+alexrudd Posted August 25, 2006 Posted August 25, 2006 They are showing the Google Map feature is in BETA..... which usually means.... do not distrub Google Maps should have nothing to do with cookies, which handle the login information. I have also seen this problem recently on every cache page I've gotten to by following a link from the forums. Starting to get annoying.

Good old fencepost problems Another bug - The table next to the Google Map that shows caches is not showing the owned/found/bookmarked symbols.
+JC_Geo Posted August 26, 2006 Posted August 26, 2006 Another bug - The table next to the Google Map that shows caches is not showing the owned/found/bookmarked symbols. I am having the same problem here and I am logged in.

Tried clicking the link, logging in again and returning to this page but it still doesn't work... If it's a cookie problem it's specific to this single page. Had the same problem and even tried deleting the geocaching.com cookies. Now it show me as logged in but doesn't show my found caches or premium only caches. I hope this change means they are working on it but I don't know because I didn't get any response to my trouble ticket and the link to check on it is bad. The one think I hate worse than a service that doesn't work properly (it's beta after all) is bad customer service when I try to get help.
+Wile E. Dragonfly Posted August 29, 2006 Posted August 29, 2006 I am having the map problem too.... I can access the members only caches from the list, but not from the google maps... which is a problem as that's what I use a lot of....
