+vaetanone
Think I saw this before but search did not find. While doing a web updater update to my 60CSx it failed partway thru, resulting in missing software message. This was using the latest web updater. Any suggestions on next step? Quote Link to comment
Vlad
go to the updates webpage - on the right hand side of the page click on show all updates. find your gps in the listed models and download the software for your unit. run the update manually. Quote Link to comment
+Train_Man
Sorry to say it but with my expierience with firmware I'd have to say your unit is dead and you'll have to send it in for replacement through Garmin (warrenty should cover it easily). Quote Link to comment
+ProsperoDK
You should definitely try as Vlad instructs, and download the software separately and try the update that way, I am reasonably sure I heard about another here on the forum experiencing the same that rescued his GPSr that way. Best of luck! ProsperoDK/René Quote Link to comment

Best of luck! ProsperoDK/René I have (unfortunately) had to do that TWICE and it has worked both times. When I did it I didn't turn anything (computer or GPS) off. I'd sure try a manual reload before going through the trouble of sending the unit back. Rick Quote Link to comment

Every firmware update on any system can be repeated this should never be a return to base situation. If it is then the manufacturer is not following the basic rules of the game. Quote Link to comment
