+PerryClayton
Is it possible? If so I couldn't figure it out. Thanks, Perry Quote Link to comment
+Munin
Benchmarks aren't directly integrated into the geocaching PQ system, but with a small amount of work you can generate GPX files of benchmarks. See Question 8 in the 'Me First!' thread (pinned to the top of the Benchmark Hunting forum ) Quote Link to comment

+GEO*Trailblazer 1
When I drag and drop the county file from the NGS into bmgpx I get 0 return. I will try again later but I tried it for other states and still got 0. Am I doing something wrong? I download zipped file drag into bmgpx and get the gpx file but it has nothing in it. +tin-ear
Aren't you supposed to extract the Zip file and get a .dat file; then open the dat file with bmgpx Then you get a gpx file that you can drag and drop into GSAK This is what works for me. Nothing happens by dragging and dropping into bmgpx. Quote Link to comment
+Klemmer
Well, might depend on your computer / setup / operating system. I can drag & drop a .dat file (extracted from the zipped NGS file), right onto BMGPX. A file of the same name with a .gpx file type appears in the same directory. Be sure your "file viewer" program (like Windows Explorer) is set to show the file extenson (like .zip or .dat or .gpx). If it is not, you can get seriously confused about which file is which. Thanks all. Now if I loaded the BM marcos into gsak will it automatically work on the imported benchmarks? Or is there a special way I have to do that? Quote Link to comment
2oldfarts (the rockhounders)
You need to run the macro with the open database in GSAK. We keep each county in its own database, so we needed to run the macro for each county where we planned on hunting. John Quote Link to comment
