+Alibags
These look like they could be nice micros. Touch of black paint or cammo tape... Edited January 23, 2006 by Alibags Quote Link to comment
+dino-irl
If those are what I think they are then you can get them pretty cheaply in most outdoor shops. They're marketed as somewhere to keep loose change, etc safe when skiing or swimming. And to answer your question they would make good micros Quote Link to comment
+purple_pineapple
How ironic! When Mrs pp and I were on honeymoon last year, we wanted somewhere to keep out room key whilst snorkelling in the maldives (yes, it was lovely! ) We looked EVERYWHERE for one of these (I remember having one as a kid) and couldn't find one for love nor money! And yes, we looked in all the big outdoors shops. If weighted, they would make ideal underwater caches as well.... hmmmm - thats got me thinking... Dave Quote Link to comment
+dino-irl
Murphy's Law...you can't find them when you want them but when you find one you start seeing them everywhere you go Quote Link to comment

+Stuey
I saw a bright pink one of those at a "Pang " cache near Reading just before Christmas. Quote Link to comment
+Happy Humphrey
I found one of these being used as a micro cache recently. Oddly enough, it was damp inside. Quote Link to comment
+Alibags
I have seen the pink pang cache! I actually have a cache in one of these containers myself. I thought that 3 for £1.79 (60p each) seemed cheap, that's why I posted the link. Underwater caches? mmmmmmm lovely!!! Quote Link to comment
Sharpeset
I saw a bright pink one of those at a "Pang " cache near Reading just before Christmas. ...and there's a yellow one in the same 'Pang' series (found yesterday in a wickedly cunning hiding place)... Maybe the Cache Hoppers have a tame stockist? Quote Link to comment

+The Cache Hoppers
Yeah we have used them on our River Pang series - they make very cunning hides. Got them off eBay - still have a couple kicking around somewhere - coming to a cache near you soon! Quote Link to comment
