+Cleveland Metroparks
Does anyone know of a cache placed in a zoo? If so, could you let me know anything about it and / or which cache it is? Thank you, Cleveland Metroparks geocaching@clevelandmetroparks.com Quote Link to comment

+Sue Gremlin
This cache is located right outside a drive through safari park, so you can see the giraffes and other big game critters, and is excellent. This cache is located right outside the gates of the Cape May County zoo. Neither of these are actually in the zoo. Quote Link to comment

+Night Stalker
Renegade Knight hid a sneaky one in the Pocatello Zoo. He got permission first, and I believe the zoo actually installed the cache for him. Quote Link to comment
AZcachemeister
There's a virtual at the Tucson Zoo, and a micro in the parking area of the Phoenix Zoo. There's also another micro at 'Hunt's Tomb', which overlooks the Phoenix Zoo, and you can actually see at least one of the displays from there! Quote Link to comment

medoug
A friend of mine (not a geocacher himself) once told me that he thought that it would be funny to place a geocache (or at least the coordinates for a geocache) in the lion's pen at a zoo. Seriously though... I am planning a zoo cache in remote part of a nearby park that once had a zoo but it was removed around 1930. After investigating the area, I even found some artifacts providing evidence of the site's previous function. Few people, even the locals, know that a zoo once existed in the spot. I am still doing some investigation into the details of this ghostzoo, but plan to establish the cache this Spring. medoug. Quote Link to comment

There are only 46 caches in all of Thailand?!? Quote Link to comment
