+shunra Posted October 18, 2005 Posted October 18, 2005 The new layout is mostly an improvement. I'd have been happy if the pocket queries were positioned more prominently in the tab bar at the top, but at least I can find them. However, Having no caches in the approval queue, I don't know where I would find them now. They used to be listed in the right margin of the My Account / Quickview page. Moreover, there used to be a "view archived" link, which would show me caches which were rejected, never approved. Where can I find those now? Thanks!
+SeventhSon Posted October 18, 2005 Posted October 18, 2005 Your pending caches will be listed under "My Account Details".
+Jeremy Posted October 18, 2005 Posted October 18, 2005 They are positioned at the top of the page above the latest logs. In other words, in the prime real estate (since pending listings are a big priority)
+Learned Gerbil Posted October 18, 2005 Posted October 18, 2005 I agree the enhancements are good, but something that is bugging me big time is that when I click on the email links in the notifications I recieve the pages show no coordinates. I have all the remember me and stuff clicked, so why do I have to log on every time I get an email just to see where the cache is? Surely the point of the notifications is to inform me, not irritate me! As it is it is a real PITA!
+Lil Devil Posted October 18, 2005 Posted October 18, 2005 when I click on the email links in the notifications I recieve the pages show no coordinates. I click the 2nd link in the Notify email, and I get the cache page WITH coords.

+BalkanSabranje Posted October 18, 2005 Posted October 18, 2005 Cache Page: Changed Travel Bugs to only show 3 on the page. If there are more a link is provided to the rest. This is so the page is not overtaken on pages that have many listings at once. See this example: http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_detai...e0-5c30870376d2 Doesn't seem to work...

There's another topic around here somewhere that has me resetting the option to show them all (until the "more" link is better).

As I said: I used to be able to see them under the "view archived" link in the right margin, under the pending caches.

Quick View | Watchlist | Geocaches (Mine) | Click on the word Geocaches and they will appear on the right just like they always have. I had the same problem and within 2 clicks I found it. And by the way I like some of the nice changes. Especially the way we can change the stats bar. I'm more of a hider so I can reflect my current likes with no problems. Thanks for the Changes, now lets get that Way Way thing going.
+PeterNoG Posted October 19, 2005 Posted October 19, 2005 It is clearly viable on my account page Quick View | Watchlist | Geocaches (Mine) | Travel Bugs (Mine) | Benchmarks | Member Features My Account Details My caches waiting for review (view archived)
+SeventhSon Posted October 20, 2005 Posted October 20, 2005 I notice the logs for the last 30 days are now staying longer than 30 days.
+Prime Suspect Posted October 20, 2005 Posted October 20, 2005 I notice the logs for the last 30 days are now staying longer than 30 days. I'm still only seeing 1 month's worth of logs.

SeventhSon, did you by any chance do some retro-logging? Wrote a few "found its" in mid-September for caches you hunted down in August? Those will show up as having been written in the past 30 days.
+SeventhSon Posted October 20, 2005 Posted October 20, 2005 No, this morning, my log from 9/16 was still on the list, but I see now it's gone. Also, I though I read somewhere TB lists are limited to 3 on cache pages, but this one shows the cut off at 20.
+Airmapper Posted October 24, 2005 Posted October 24, 2005 I noticed the GC.com disclaimer runs over into the bug list on cache pages. I don't suppose it is a problem, but it doesn't look very good. I didn't know where to post this, so I picked here in the thread with the closest topic.
