Alice Band Posted October 1, 2005 Posted October 1, 2005 Nice pic - makes me want to go there - whereabouts was it taken? Quote
Yorkypudding Posted October 1, 2005 Author Posted October 1, 2005 Hi, Thanks, Its a place called Hodsocks Prioy near Bawtry and Worksop. I believe it only opens once a year in May(not sure) for the gardens which are covered in snowdrops. The grounds and gardens are very beautiful to see. Perhaps I should place a cache near there, to make everyone more aware of it. Yorkypudding. Quote
steviep Posted October 1, 2005 Posted October 1, 2005 Surely your avatar should be a YORKSHIRE PUDDING Sarah! Quote
Yorkypudding Posted October 2, 2005 Author Posted October 2, 2005 Hi, This did cross my mind but how the hell do I get a piccy of a Yorkyshire Pudding. Im not having a piccy of me on here lol. Yorkypudding. Quote
Haggis Hunter Posted October 2, 2005 Posted October 2, 2005 (edited) how the hell do I get a piccy of a Yorkyshire Pudding. A little bit of a search and you can come up with a few pictures, that are free to download. Right click on the picture you like, then select 'Save picture as' once you have it onto your computer, upload it to GC.com for your avatar. Alternatively do a google for 'Yorkshire Pudding Pictures'. Edited October 2, 2005 by Haggis Hunter Quote
The Blorenges Posted October 2, 2005 Posted October 2, 2005 the picture you like Lovely yorky puds! Should we have a Forum vote on which is the most attractive pud? I rather like the one with seductive gravy dripping over it..... Mrs B Quote
The Bongtwashes Posted October 2, 2005 Posted October 2, 2005 (edited) Yep, I'd go for the one with the gravy. Edited October 2, 2005 by The Bongtwashes Quote
Simply Paul Posted October 2, 2005 Posted October 2, 2005 < Vegetarian. I'd go for the middle ones. Just the right golden colour, a little translucency in the light and I even like the photographs depth of focus SP Quote

Yorkypudding Posted October 2, 2005 Author Posted October 2, 2005 Hi, Ive chosen these lovely looking puds, sorry there not what everyone voted but we cant keep everyone happy lol. Its a good idea to have these puds, we see trees all the time whilst out cacheing, we dont often see Puds out unless youve stopped off for some Sunday lunch. Yorkypudding. Quote
Simply Paul Posted October 2, 2005 Posted October 2, 2005 The ones you picked would have been my second choice anyway, so well done you! I hope you're very happy with them. SP Quote
Haggis Hunter Posted October 2, 2005 Posted October 2, 2005 Look at that a good result, you're welcome only took me about 5 minutes to find them. Going by your name, they do look better than the trees Quote
The Blorenges Posted October 2, 2005 Posted October 2, 2005 we cant keep everyone happy lol. Ah well, as you didn't choose the gravy one, I've consoled myself by cooking roast beef and yps AND gravy for the Blorenge household tonight (Actually the yps were Aunt Bessies ) Quote
