+geocacher_coza Posted July 4, 2005 Posted July 4, 2005 First, Gobalrat where did you get that shinny new Avatar???? Is that you with some makeup on?? (Hey just a joke!) To all forum members- Tell us why you use the Avatar you got- the meaning and where did you get it? Quote
Azaruk Posted July 4, 2005 Posted July 4, 2005 Mine is boring and obvious - I have a LandRover, 1965 Series IIA, enjoy off-roading as much as I enjoy geocaching, so the obvious choice for an avatar was an image of the Landy. Where did I get it? Can't remember! I think someone sent it to me. I've thought about changing it, but when I need to refer back to a post, it's easy to spot! So I guess I'll leave it in place for a while ........ Quote
+Africard Posted July 4, 2005 Posted July 4, 2005 What can I say, I love Africa! The avatar started out as a logo for my outdoor / xtreme sport and hunting cc - African Road Safari's... Quote
+QFC Posted July 4, 2005 Posted July 4, 2005 Hiking 80 km down a canyon (Fish River) can do things to poeple, hence the QFC in the path.... (Will be long gone before any of you get there). Part three is in the background of the photo (caught in the act). We just tweeked the photo to bring out the "markings in the sand"... Quote
+Whostops Posted July 4, 2005 Posted July 4, 2005 Since my Teens, I have always carried a pocket knife. Since I got my first job it has been a Swiss Army Knife "Champ". I keep forgetting it when I check in at the airport and have to "make a plan" to book it in as luggage. Quote
AE_Rodney Posted July 5, 2005 Posted July 5, 2005 My brother is an extreamly good illustrator, and he wanted me to give him an idea for some practice. So I asked him to draw me Geocaching. Well, if this is his practice, you must know how his serious works are. Still trying to get him to colour it in for me. Quote
