mhdennis
Hello, My wife is getting me a gps unit for Christmas. I've decided to go with the Magellan Sportrak Pro. I found a website online that sells them for $239.95 w/free shipping. The company's name is AdvancedGPS. I think they are out of California. I was wondering if anyone knows if they are reputable or if anyone has any experience with them before I make my purchase. Thanks in advance. +CCrew
My Local Costco has them for $279 w/$50 rebate. That with included accessories, No Costco near you? If Wal-Mart is lowering prices every day, how come nothing in the store is free yet? Quote Link to comment

blaze007
For the same price ($239.00) you can get the Magellan Meridian Platinum from Shop Harmony. Several members and myself have purchased our Platinums from there and have had no problems. In my experience the Platinum is a solid performer. If you are interested you can search the boards for the shop harmony threads or visit www.shopharmony.com yourself. Hope this helps. Quote Link to comment
+Ttepee
Offroute.com has the sport trac pro for $246.95. I ordered my map76s from them a couple of weeks ago. I was thrilled with their service... at the time there was a shipping charge (don't know if that's changed with the holidays) that was minimal. Read my post my posted thread here. Good luck with your purchase! Quote Link to comment
+CCrew
Looked today, the Costco Rebate is $100, not $50 on a purchase of $289. $189 after the rebate. Comes with pc cable, car mount, soft case, car power cable and mapping cd If Wal-Mart is lowering prices every day, how come nothing in the store is free yet? Quote Link to comment
dangps
Bought mine at TigerGPS.com, they have amazing prices and will ship same day even when you order late in the day. Also I noticed someone mentioned harmony computers? They rip you off on the software! Check out this site, they're great. Quote Link to comment
+Ttepee
Wow that tigergps.com site charges $60 more for a Map76s than offroute.com does...and offroute donates %10 to geocaching.com. Quote Link to comment
Buttons Brigade
I had a great experience with gpsdiscount.com purchasing my eTrex Vista a few weeks ago. Opinions based on experiences with eTrex Vista... Quote Link to comment
