AE_Rodney
Check out maps.google.com. Lots of USA stuff, but you can switch to satallite and check out South Africa. The level of detail is not as good as the USA, but it's still cool. Quote Link to comment
Tsongkapa
For excellent maps and aerial photographs of the Etekwini Municipality look at http://citymaps.durban.gov.za. After the first page has loaded click on "new maps". The photos are a bit old - but still fascinating to view. Quote Link to comment
+GlobalRat
And here is the one for Tshwane (Pretoria) http://gis.tshwane.gov.za/website/tpis/ Interestingly you can still see the land value of an erf and it's improvement value as well as whether the owner or a tenant lives there. Menlyn Centre's council property value is a mere R900m.... Now if I had to draw a linear graph of rates and taxes....eeeeeeeiisssh Last year they actually listed the owners name as well as the tenants for each erf. Seems they have removed this (quite rightfully). Anyway, I have a list of similar services which I'll add to my site along with these mentioned here. If anyone knows of any others please post and I'll add. Edited May 27, 2005 by GlobalRat Quote Link to comment

+vespax
It looks like they are working on adding new images. Western part of Cape Town has really good images. Hope fully in a few months and if they get enough hits t those regions, they will add more coverage. That would be really great. Also, Cape Agulhas is just barely not covered by good images.
