Still No Luck

More details:

 

I'm using a Magellan Meridian Color.

 

Here is what I'm attempting, please advise if this is incorrect.

 

In GSAK I go to "GPS" and select "Send waypoints..."

 

Then a new window pops up.

 

I select the number of waypoints I wish to send and then hit "Send". A window appears saying "Generating GPS file." then a window saying "Sending waypoints". It lasts about 30 seconds and then the error comes up.

Do you have your Baud Rate set correctly and check to see that you are using the correct Com port.

I have the correct Com and Baud, they match those I use for MapSend and that works.

 

Any other suggestions?

What error message are you getting? Make sure the receiver is set to Magellan in the GPS set up, the baud rate matches the one set up in the GPS and that your GPS has NMEA off. 9600 baud works for me. Mapsend uses autodetect, GSAK doesn't so do check the settings in the GPSr
