+The Hokesters
OK is anyone else suffering??? I am sure the tree pollen is killing me but this is early! I have the lot, itchy tingly nose which is running like Niagra Falls, itchy eyes and sneezing fits! Am I on my own? They say spring has come early (BBC's Springwatch) is anyone else suffering? This might put my COTM stats at risk until it passes (this is the on-topic bit). P.S. 1000th post - note to self 'must get life' P.P.S Thought Springwatch would be of interest to the caching community. Quote Link to comment
+Kitty Hawk
Boy that is early, you have my sympathy. I used ephedrine last year for the first time, it dries up your nose a treat. I'm no doctor though so it's not a recommendation. Quote Link to comment
+mongoose39uk
Yep it is early, suffering already! Have tried all kinds of medication in the past but always end up feeling like I am hungover and full of a cold. Do find it gets easier as the summer comes though, unless people bring cut flowers near me Quote Link to comment
+Fangsy
No symptoms to report here yet. The rain we had today usually keeps such things at bay. Quote Link to comment
+DomHeknows
i was really pleased that last year i didn't suffer too much - especially during the alchemy quest day. I can't remember what tablets i took but they were fantastic - as is the injection if you insist to your dr that you have it. Quote Link to comment
Dave from Glanton
You have my sympathies. I used to suffer like hell with hayfever - sneezing sessions of 12-15 hours in the height of summer. I used to swear by Triludan until they took them off the market a few years back, and have since been taking Chlorphenaramine which works a treat, coupled with Beconase - hardly even a sniffle, even in the height of summer. Dave's money saving tip of the day: see if you can get your GP to prescribe them, and get an NHS prepayment certificate - works out cheaper than getting branded drugs over the counter. +McDeHack
I think you might have a cold or worse a dose of the flu Quote Link to comment
+The Hokesters
It's nice to know a few others are suffering. It has been tricky convincing my wife that I don't have SARS and avoiding the quacks! This colder snap has reduced it a little. Once the snow thaws middle of next week we will have to see if it comes back Now I might just go and set a new cache this week! Quote Link to comment
+The Ducklings
Aquabox........ do you suffer more in the morning? if so, do what i have done. 1. buy an anti allergy pillow. 2. hoover your mattress and duvet. if you are like me, the common dust mite is enemy no.1 and the above will ease your suffering no end im sure. +The Hokesters
No fraid not (Dyson Animal to the rescue) it has been all day most days until today thank gawd! Still stayed indoors though just in case! Actually it is 2am and I am suffering more than I have done all day today Suppose that's the price you pay of living next to all these pesky trees! Maybe tomorrow we will venture out for a few caches. Quote Link to comment
