davester
Any amusing caching incidents caused by the wind this weekend? I went on a walk around a moor near Buxton (GeoHikes write up here) to pass by GC9B05 Lightly Wooded Walk. Soon after, while walking on the access land I had to cross a wall and the howling gale blew me off the top landing me in a heap in the mud! Not to mention the number of times my mapcase (with heavy lamfold map and Geko 201) whacked me in the face!!! Edited January 9, 2005 by davester Quote Link to comment
+kbootb
Quite fun watching the anglers trying to keep their umbrellas and hides on the ground. Quote Link to comment

+Beds Clangers
Did a few caches around Lincoln today But, spent more time chasing the contents of caches across the fields, I mean "cache" cards, bloddy things!!! Nick Quote Link to comment
+Alibags
Yeah, me too. makes me think I should put some sort of dedicated cache card container in my new caches to hold them. They always end up stuffed in the log book, so when you open it to sign it, they fall out and then, as yesterday, go flying about all over the place. I don't dislike them, in fact I have got a collection going, but just want to keep things neat and tidy. Quote Link to comment
questsmith
I braved the wind and various other elements to find a cache in the Cotswolds on Sunday. Have a guess what I picked up ... ... a fan !!! Quote Link to comment
