+rutson
Worked fine on my Xp lappy, but couldn't get the darn thing to play on the Win98SE desktop Quote Link to comment
markandlynn
Have you ticked the fix windows me / 98 freeze problem box? or posting your problem on the GSAK forum. Clyde usually answers within 1/2 a day (he lives in australia) Quote Link to comment
+Longfram Kev
Hopefully I've solved the problem. Sent the USB cable back and just bought a serial cable on Ebay. Next problem... I downloaded Easy GPS... Then got GSAK as this was suppodsed to be the "one" to use... tried to download waypoints from GC.com and they said " save / open in Easy GPS.. There must be away to download them into GSAK??? Problems Problems Problems Quote Link to comment
+John Stead
If you are downloading the waypoints from the GC.com "My Cache Page", it invites you to save them in a folder of your choice as a .loc file. If you are a paid up Geocacher and use Pocket Queries your file will be a .gpx file. GSAK will open either type and you should be smiling. Quote Link to comment
+McDeHack
Whilst on this question. I had this broblem. sorted with etrex, Serial cable, serial to usb converter cable, Easygps would only show com 1 or com 3. (Device manager showed that the setup was on com 6) GSAK did the trick. Now whilst on this theme. Can I send GSAK waypoints to Memory map. If so how? Quote Link to comment
Deego
Now whilst on this theme. Can I send GSAK waypoints to Memory map. If so how? Run your filter to select what you want to send then:- Click file--->Export--->memory map (or use the toolbar to add the icon for MM) Bingo Quote Link to comment
