+Bob&TheGang
I am going away on vacation and plan to hit a bunch of caches up in the High Sierra (of Central California). I will be gone for two weeks and won't have access to a computer. Is it OK to post the cache finds when I get back (even though it will be two weeks delayed)? - Bobkat92 & the 3 Bears "To me, Geocaching is the thrill of the hunt and going to neat places (you might not go otherwise); its NOT what you actually find in a cache." +briansnat
Sure, many people do that. Just try to remember to keep the dates straight when you log. Bring along a small memo pad to record the waypoint info, date found and some of your experieces, so you have something to refer to when you finally get to log the caches. +Mark 42
It asks for the date of the find on the Log page. I'm planning to start keeping track in my running log (I'm training for Seattle Marathon) since I will often be combining caching with my training runs. +Harrald
Just try and avoid any Travel bugs. Also check around where you are. Most libraries have internet access. +Team DEMP
Why avoid travel bugs? It's a good way to get a bug from one place to another isn't it - pick it up on vacation and drop it off at another vacation stop or when you get home? Quote Link to comment
+Team Jammer
No need to avoid Travel Bugs...just check them out ahead of time so you can see what their goal is. As a Bug owner it's great seeing my bug traveling across country. On the other hand...if the bugs goal is to stay local in that area or state then the owner may get a little pissed if you take it across country. A little preperation is all it takes to make it enjoyable for everyone. topdog01 Quote Link to comment

Because if you drop off a bug while on vacation and don't log it till you get home there can be issues if it's picked up by someone else. If you bring a bug home with you that's another case. But dropping off a bug without being able to log it in a timely manner can make the bugs logs screwy.
