I have only one new travel bug left to activate and release and i fool an overwhelmind need to buy another 8 pack

 

do other people find them addictive?

 

do you need to find more or do you need to buy them, what iss your addiction level?

I bought 8 and then in a fit of noob enthusiasm, I bought 100 more. (Don't ask!) I bought another eight about a year later and gave 3 to my nephew, Lookin 4 cache.

 

Funny thing, I have ONLY activated 49 of Snoogz Travel Bug Army. Of those, I have only released a handfull.......

 

What could I possibly be up to????

I activated my 16th last night for the NFL Stadium race and will activate my 17th soon for the NASCAR race so that only leaves me two left. As soon as I realized I was down to two my first thought was "Time to order another 8 pack."

 

I had actually considered trying to buy in bulk like snoogans did. My plan was to leave an unactivated TB tag as a prize for the cache owner whenever I had a FTF on a cache. Now I think if I bought them in bulk I'd just release them

I released all 4 of my Geocoins, I am down to my last TB which remains unactivated and one TB that I have made but haven't released yet. I am not sure I will buy more but on the finding part...

 

Screw the views, health aspect, sharing, meeting and playing a game with other people...I must find these overvalued in monetary terms yet heavily emotionally valued pieces of commercial drivel that are strapped to varying degrees of personally valued objects, all to get a number on some obscure website, beside a sacred(?) scarab symbol which is cleverly merged with commercialism, so that I can...well um...what can I do with it...I'll think of something…it has a purpose, I know it does...But it couldn't be the views, healthy activity, sharing and meeting other people, playing a game, could it be..no way.

 

Yeah I am a addict of finding TB's (and a full member of on-and-on anon) but if this is a disease I don't want to be cured!

For me for christmas, I plan on requesting a new pack of travel bugs.

I need three for my NASCAR race - that and the fact that I have two out there and they're both MWC (missing with cachers) so I don't have anything to follow.

I started off with a 4-pack and have since ordered several 8-packs. After ordering the most recent one, I had a dream that Groundspeak sent me 40 instead of 8. The trouble was, even after waking up I kept forgetting it was a dream, so I kept trying to think up ways to use 40 Tbs. Now I have so many ideas (way more ideas than travel bugs) that I think I'll have to order those 40 after all

I love finding and tracking travel bugs. I've only had 4 so far and have been very lucky as just one has gone missing. Too many and perhaps the novelty would wear off...

Have you checked the TBs on e-bay? There's one now that's starting at $4.99 plus $2 shipping - that brings it to more than I can get one from geocaching.com! And the amazing thing is that people are buying them at these inflated prices! One recently went for $8.89 with shipping. I just don't get it...
