Lactodorum
Let's hear it for Jim Stabler who has been in discussions with the West Midlands area of the Forestry Commission about his cache on Haughmond Hill He has worked with them for some time now and they have been monitoring the cache and people's logs. They are now more than happy with this cache and have stated that they are quite happy for more cache to be placed on their land (subject to them giving the usual say so first). Indeed they have go so far as to say that they would like to see some more caches placed and they are getting back to me with suggested locations! I'm also waiting for precise details of the land they are responsible for so please bear with me for the moment until I have this information. This is great news and shows what can be achieved with the right approach. Well done Jim Quote Link to comment
Deego
Nice going Jim. Not a million miles from me, (only 31 in GPS miles) so will give it a try soon. Its nice to prove that we are good people (well most of us are :tired:) Quote Link to comment

+Team Maddie UK
Well done Jim and a big thanks from all of us in the area. Having done Haughmond Hill, I can understand why the FC might have been impressed with both the location and the attitude of most Geocachers. It is a great spot. Quote Link to comment
+The Wombles
Well done Jim, where did you get those negotiation skills? Excellent news, Dave Quote Link to comment
+The Hole-in-the-wall Gang
Good work Jim. It seems like the FC are slowly accepting Geocaching on land that they manage. Let hope that the word spreads internally. Quote Link to comment

+wigglesworth
Great news and well done Jim. If we use forestry locations though let's do our best to position them to maximise GPS reception. Peter Quote Link to comment
