+Rubberhead
I'm wondering if I should go back to version 5.x. I hesitate since I've converted a lot of .mps files to .gdb files and assigned a lot of waypoints to catagories. Quote Link to comment

eltsu
At least I managed to hang that version 6.03 a couple of times... maybe it was so buggy that they don't wan't to have more beta testers for that version and decided to do some development before sharing it again? Quote Link to comment

Pat_in_Utah
You notice this line in the Changes section? Added code so that MapSource beta builds now expire 60 days after their build date. After expiration, the application will instruct the user on how to update their application to the latest version. I test beta versions because I get the software for free! Not so here. Wonder what GPS info will be lost in 60 days? Waypoint catagories? Does the 60CS self-destruct, emitting smoke or something!? Quote Link to comment

Started with v4 on the CD I got with my GPS V and then updated to v5 and now v6. There's no charge. The reason to expire betas is so folks don't keep running unsupported software.
