JumpinJoe
I was at BoatUS today and picked up an inexpensive neoprene case for my 60C. The cost was $6.99 and its made for cell phones (cellmate) but it fits like a glove. Good place to store my 60C so it does not get banged up when not in use or while being transported. http://www.chisco.com/cgi-bin/catalog/R30001.html Enjoy! Quote Link to comment
+Volwrath
Can you give us a pic to see how it looks in the case? That case looks a little tight. Quote Link to comment
JumpinJoe
I took one with the "flap" open and one with it closed. Notice that the "flap" on my case is somewhat oval shaped. This allows it to close while leaving room for the antenna. The model in the catalog appears to be a bit different. The fit is like a glove. Because its neoprene it will stretch a bit. But it's not so tight that it makes access difficult. I like it quite a bit- just what I was looking for. So now when I am on the trail, I can hook it to my belt and leave it on (antenna is exposed so the unit will work as normal) and when I need to check my coordinates, I can easily remove it from the case. http://www.bimmerfest.com/forums/showthrea...5563#post685563 Quote Link to comment

+Volwrath
Is the R30001 the correct model #? Are you sure ?? Quote Link to comment
JumpinJoe
I have the tag here: 30001 Cellmate 93039 30001 But it may be last years model- the one on the web site looks different. Quote Link to comment

JumpinJoe
I actually like the one in the catalog better than mine because mine does nto have the grip material on the sides. Quote Link to comment
+Shadow n Seqoui
I didn't forget.... The case hasn't arrived yet...maybe tomorrow. (coming by USPS). However, the 60CS did make it here on time. Quote Link to comment
+Shadow n Seqoui
Got the case in today… It’s the same one with the oval flap. Fits like a glove is right. The case I got in is way to tight to install/remove the 60C(S) while it’s on a belt. I needed 3 hands to do it. Maybe it will stretch out some??? If not, I'm going to get some elastic sewn into the sides, as I do like it. It is what I’ve been looking for. Thanks for posting the Find (link).. Quote Link to comment
+Team BlackZ
I use the soft case that bought from Garmin. It works great. A little more money, but it works well. Garmin case Quote Link to comment
mgabel
Does the 30001 Cellmate 93039 30001 work ok when the unit is on? Do buttons get pushed? I bought an accucase http://www.accucase.com/gps.html for my 60CS and it fits perfectly (size #1). But, when it is on, various buttons get pushed when it is in the case. [is there a "button lock" option? I did not see one] Quote Link to comment
+Shadow n Seqoui
work ok when the unit is on? Do buttons get pushed? Yes, looks like buttons are being pushed when the unit is on. If only this case was about 1/8" wider.... Quote Link to comment
