+rusty_da_dog
Hi all, I will be traveling to North Carolina and Northwest Tennessee the end of March, and was looking for some good quick caches to hit along the way from Arkansas. I will be staying in Boone,NC but will also be driving up around Bristol and Marion VA. Any ideas would be great. Thanks in advance, Rusty Quote Link to comment
+sis
murrcat and i have mockingbird (GC445F) at a tn/nc reststop on interstate 40. enjoy, sis Quote Link to comment
+wimseyguy
Dandridge I-40 Rest Stop is just east of I-40/I-81 Intersection. I-40 eastbound Rest Stop is on the other side of the intersection a few miles away. Snake Road Cache is a real fun drive just off I-40 at the NC/TN border(best accessed from TN) and a short hike on the AT. Quote Link to comment

+DavidMac
THe MTGC website has a list of TN rest area caches. If you're traveling on the new I-26, there are 2 caches at scenic overlooks: Westbound: I-26 Unofficial TN Welcome Center Eastbound: Parrot's Eye View Quote Link to comment
carolinatravelers
There are quite a few around here in Marion, N.C. Just check the zip-code 28752 to access all the caches. PS, I have a few here also!! Good luck on your caching trip. The Carolinatravelers Quote Link to comment

+rusty_da_dog
Cool, I will have to check those out. Thanks to everyone who has posted so far, I am really looking forward to getting some of those, and the rest area ones should be a good break from the drive + my dad can't get too mad at me as long as they are right on the way Cya on the trails, Rusty Quote Link to comment
