Travel Bugs Being Kept

Has anyone run into an incident where a Cacher had found their Travel Bug and kept it? It happened to me with my NJ Devils Bottle Cap Opener Bug. Is it ok to demand the person who grabbed it place it somewheres? I didn't send it out for someone to keep it!!!!!!!!!

You can demand, but it probably won't get you anywhere. A friendly reminder might produce some results, but don't hold your breath on that either.

Here's what I find peculiar. You don't have a "NJ Devils Bottle Cap Opener Bug" listed as one that you own on your profile. If the finder is as confused as I am, it's no wonder your bug has gone AWOL.

Honeychile, take a look at my Malcontent info, not my Weirdtravelscachehunters profile. You'll find the answers you seek. Of course you could have just looked for the bug itself and seen the guys picture in both profiles are the same.

I would definitely e-mail this person requesting nicely once that your bug be returned to the wild, if after several attempts that does not work,leave a post directed to that cacher in the forums. If that does not work, you may have to add your TB to the TB Graveyard. which can be found here..Travelbug graveyard

Instead of the graveyard, a missing bug can now be moved to an unknown, nonphysical, location by the owner ("Mark bug missing"). If it is resurrected, it shouldn't accumulate distance from there.
