Last month, (June 19th to be exact), we hid a cache in a place we have visited many times. Eight days later the cache was still sitting there unoticed so we e-mailed the "person" in charge of accepting new caches here in NJ. It must have been a bump on his/her head because it seemed to wake them up a little. Since it was a multi-cache they wanted all the co-ors to check if everything was on the up and up. We sent the co-ors the day they were requested. As of JUly 5 there was again still another no reply from said person. So we sent them the co-ors again. July 6 they then posted another message saying they were confused. It doesn't seem too hard to confuse them. By July 12 there was still no answer for us to this cahce we placed. We then did something drastic to see what would happen and reported the cache at another geo-caching site. It was accepted within 12 hours of it being reported. July 13 the person in charge, after we demanded he/she do something already, archived it. They claim they can not prove if it is on public property or not. The guys fishing there last time we visited didn't seem to have any questions about it, neither did the other cache site have any trouble proving it. Do we feel we were unjustly treated? Yes. So the last comment on the page from us can be understood.
See GCJR11 if you wish to see what we put up with here.
