Finding Other Geocachers

To elaborate on McKenzie Clan's post, go to:

http://www.geocaching.com/seek

Then scroll down to the bottom to where they suggested you go. Type in the username and a list of their caches will follow. Click on the top one, find their most recent log, and click on their name from that. Kind of a round-about way to go about it, but it works. :(

Take the link above and insert the username where HOMER currently appears. I think that should work.

I don't think he's active anymore. This is what I get:

"Server Error in '/' Application.

Server Too Busy

Description: An unhandled exception occurred during the execution of the current web request. Please review the stack trace for more information about the error and where it originated in the code.

If you're trying to find them on gc.com then they'll only show up if they have logged a find against a cache. search against my username - kasio - and you'll get nothing!

but if you search on the forums it'll re-direct you back to gc.com profile

True.

Same for a forum search.

kasio would show up in a forum search and you can find them that way.

But if they are not in the forums, or haven't logged you are SOL.

Unless you knew their numeric ID. If you know them email them and ask what their numeric ID is. You can find it by looking at your own profile and looking at the last numbers of the URL after the = sign.

Just a server error, they happen occasionally...

I know, it's just the answer I got when I tried the search :)

They've been happening quite a bit recently, but we've had a lot of new members so things'll work out soon! :)
