How Many Geocaching Associations and Groups Out There?

Hello! Here in Georgia, we have formed the Georgia Geocachers Association (GGA) to give Geocachers a place to learn more about Geocaching, meet others with like interests, and to assist the Geocaching Community with getting approval from places who forbid Geocaching.

We are finishing up a new version of our web site and getting ready to go live with it, but would really love to have a list of links to other groups who are doing similar work in other areas.

If you have a group, and especially a group with a web site, please post it here....then each of us can use it as a link resource and help build a network of groups.

Thanks!

Geo

The North Texas Geocaching Association is on the verge of being formed.

It's amazing what nearly 75 people showing up to a restaurant using their GPS coords can accomplish. icon_smile.gif

Oh, and ClayJar - you're welcome to join as an associate member. Even though you're from SOUTH Louisiana. icon_wink.gif

Venture Forth, out to the wild, wet forest...

Amongst many features of our site, we have a page of LINKS to other associations as we discover them. GGA was one of the first to be listed there icon_smile.gif

We will follow this link closely and add associations as they are listed. We sure would appreciate links to ours from your sites, thanks!

Like the North Texas people, those of us in the Austin/San Antonio area are will probably be forming a group soon. Perhaps for now you could list the email lists for the two areas. Both are yahoo groups. The North Texas area has dfwgeocaching and the Austin area has CentralTexasGeocachers.

Well it's been a while since I posted the original message and it looks like a lot of new groups have formed.

If you are part of a Geocaching Group that is not already listed here, please post a link to your site, info about your group and/or any graphics you might have like a link button.

Thanks!
