hmmm about the same price of an ammo can locally...would maybe opt for this, but I don't like folgers...lol

Good luck getting the coffee smell out. I think critters will make quick work of this one.

hehe...leave teh coffee in it and put the log book in the middle of the coffee...that'll keep the drug, I mean cache sniffing dogs out...lol

I have not handled one yet either but they do look flimsy, more so than tupperware and we all know how that can let water in.

Do you really think the animals are attracted to the coffee smell? I have one cache using a coffee can, so for no problems with critters.

I saw these containers the other day at Sam's Club. The lid does seem somewhat flimsy.

In the Chicagoland area, we have the opposite problem with plastic containers. The freezing cold winter makes the plastic very brittle.
