Car Mileage - or - 'Would you buy a used car from this geocacher?'

Recommended Posts

I came to a personal revelation today while making the umteenth trip for a multi-cache: If I buy a used car in the future, I'll check to make sure the former owner wasn't a geocacher!

I'm putting way too many miles on my vehicle.

What kind of mileage are you racking up?

I purchased an SUV at the beginning of January, that I use ONLY for geocaching and other outdoor activities (transporting mountain bikes to trailheads, camping, etc.)

It has 6,000 miles on it as of today.

I don't suppose that I have accumulated all that many miles but I use my car like a 4 wheel drive anymore. My 4 wheel drive truck gets horrible mileage and to say the least rides like a truck. So I almost always use my car where only a fool would take his car to find geocaches. It rides better, has A/C and gets great mileage. Don't buy my car when I am done with it.
