+GOT GPS?
It is a little off target, of what I want for a program: Screen Shot: What I would need: Geocache Waypoint ID, and the ability to extract the important info for the Geocache records automatically off of the Geocaching site. -------------------------------------------------- My Old posts as Geoffrey My Current Post as GOT GPS? +user13371
I dunno if I would buy it on eBay, but you could download the demo from the author and see if it's any good. Guessing from his webpage layout though, I wouldn't expect much. Anyone know Robert W. Benjamin by a handle in any geocachng/Groundspeak forums? It might not be his auction on eBay, but some rip-off artist. R.W.Benjamin's web page Geocaching software --- LDR. Quote Link to comment
+Cadence
Hmm. Nice idea, but why Zip Code? If you have coords, doesn't that transcend the need for Zip Code? Recommendations/Wish List in case the Real R.W.Benjamin is watching: 1. How about an area to save or link the web page of the cache to? 2. More structured entering of Coords - Pull down menus for N/S, W/E, separate fields for Degrees, Minutes and then the decimal minutes. 3. Line up the entry boxes so the 'TAB-Flow' is intuitive 4. Don't be shy about reducing font size *or* make the font size adjustable by the windows Display Settings Control Panel. If I want to be able to see another window at the same time as I am in this program, I would not be able to see some of the fields. 5. Color choices. +quakemap
All I need for my "found" caches is to log them on geocaching.com and print out the hardcopy to file. The main task from that point is to look at the map and see at a glance which ones are found, and which of the rest are worth hunting for. http://www.quakemap.com - redefining Easy... http://www.quakemap.com - redefining Easy... +Team Shibby
I give the man credit, I could'nt write a program if I tried!! I would get the geocaching one but I am more interested in the "Home Inventory" software. Nice little program to document all your personal belongings and valuables. I am pretty sure it could help with insurance re-imbursements should you ever get robbed or the house burns down. TEAM SHIBBY!!!! Krs, Kar & Na Quote Link to comment

Maybe off-topic, but remember to keep your inventory (as well as up to date back-ups of all important data) off-site. I keep my backups here --- LDR. Quote Link to comment
+Rubberhead
If you know MS Access you could duplicate that program in 43 seconds. Quote Link to comment

Perhaps so but if you don't want or have the knowledge to program it and the program does what you need, $3.99 isn't much to pay. Less than lunch out. Quote Link to comment
