Ok, this should work. Here are two of the newest models GOING to be offered by magellan, they look pretty good.

Hmmm... peers into the crystal ball

Looks like there is a color sportrak in my future... Anyone want a sportrak pro cheap?

These are due out in April and FYI the Sportrak Colour is EXACTLY like the Sportrak Pro except it has a slightly bigger display and (obviously) it is colour.

Sorry for YET another post about this but here are the stats for these new units. You wont find these on the Magellan Website.

 

SporTrak Color has a high-resolution 16 color LCD display, a 3-axis electronic compass, barometer, 9 MB North American basemap and 23 MB for additional map downloads from MapSend CDs

Sounding better and better. Hmmm... maybe a early birthday present (10 months early). icon_wink.gif as far as batteries go, I use rechargeable batteries, so that's not even a consideration. My record for number of caches found off of one set of charged batteries is 43. icon_biggrin.gif

Our supplier just received a few so I snagged one for myself. Should be in by Friday.

I've haven't been real impressed with the color displays on small battery-powered devices.

 

The only way they look decent is if they are lit up, and of course that eats batteries like crazy.
