+Rathergohiking Posted February 3 Posted February 3 I have published several Adventure Labs with a bonus cache included. My question is: How many bonus caches can you include within an adventure lab? I am working on a new one with 5 stops and would like to do a bonus cache near each stop, a total of 5. The Adventure Lab will be in a state forest with each stop about 1/2 - 2 miles apart. Thanks for your input in advance. Quote
Rock Chalk Posted February 3 Posted February 3 Only one bonus Mystery Cache per Adventure Lab is permitted. 2 Quote
+Rathergohiking Posted February 3 Author Posted February 3 Thanks. That is a very straightforward answer not subject to debate! Quote

I'm not sure if this is what you're talking about, but I thought information from the guidelines might be helpful: Do not involve placing a physical object or container for the Adventure. Here is a screenshot of my permissions. https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=127&pgid=928 Edited February 3 by Max and 99 Quote

IF caches are allowed in the state forest, you COULD place a cache near each of the Lab stops. Not a bonus cache, but a cache for people to find whether they do the Adventure Lab or not. I have one Adventure Lab and at or near most of the 5 stops is another cache I had placed well prior to the Adventure Lab being published. They are all wine country themed caches and Ad Lab, and I mention in the Lab location description that there is a nearby cache and I list the GC code for it. The caches nearby are all traditional. 1 Quote
+thebruce0 Posted February 4 Posted February 4 Yeah you could have the AL as part of a series of geocaches. And if you want the bonus only findable doing the AL then have the others along the route - they'll "have" to do those as they pass by en route to the bonus during the AL, because, you know, that's what geocachers do Quote
