+Bychowiec
I am planning to place my first geocaches ever out there! So fun! Since I never done it before I want to get some feedback from you guys about how I have done them and how I plan to place them. I have done some colourful geocaches with paper, some glue and a laminator. These will be my traditional caches - see my photos. Then I will also place a mystery cache. Traditional caches In the flower and the leafs I will make hole where I place the tube. The flower will then be placed in the ground (a lawn) with the help of a metalic wire. I will do something similar with the leafs. The butterfly will get the tube placed on its back and it will be place at a tree branch. What do you think about this? Is it good quality? Mystery cache Then I have a really huge painting I painted myself. I will place that one in a public building. The first clue will be a tube found by GPS and it will contain a QR code to scan. By scanning that QR code you will end up at a webbpage where you can read about the history of the building. This is how you know to what building you should go. It will be far away (a mile or so...). When you get to the building you will find another QR code to scan and then you will get to the last clue "Look behind the scene that everyone see but few examines." My huge paiting is a big nature scene , and if you look behind it you will find your cache. Yes, I have asked for approval to do this in that building and at that lawn.... Thanks in advance for all the feedback on this. /Bychowiec 1 Quote Link to comment
+Max and 99
Traditional: colorful! No lawn mowers can get to it, right? Or landscapers? Mystery: I personally would be afraid of taking a big framed artwork down and accidentally breaking it or not being able to put it back correctly. What kind of access is there in the public building? How limited are the hours available to the public? They're going to allow you to hang your own artwork in there? Just some questions that come to mind. Good luck with your hide! Quote Link to comment

Thanks for reminding me about the lawn mowers. I will make sure my cache is safe. About the art; I plan to hang it on the wall in the enterance of a public building that is open office hours. It will be next to the reception desk so I think it will be safe. And nothing is done without permission. But what do you think about my ideas and the work I have done? Would looking for and finding these caches make your geocaching heart happy and satisfied? /Bychowiec Quote Link to comment

+Smitherington
I like that each is unique. Quote Link to comment
+The_Jumping_Pig
First of all: incredibly unique caches that are bound to get many FPs. For the traditionals, what tube are you using? If it's a centrifuge tube, they might get wet easily since from my experience they aren't the most waterproof things. Especially if there is a puddle on the ground -- because a cache on the ground will get much wetter than a cache in a tree. For the mystery: sounds super cool. my only note is to make sure the building is not a 'business' ("Indoor caches cannot have commercial overtones or be inside a business."). Libraries and similar things are fine, but not a store. Thanks for being a hider! 1 1 Quote Link to comment
+TeamRabbitRun
"Look behind the scene that everyone see but few examines." Following up on what Max said, If I'm being clever, this sounds like I'm supposed to look behind the painting. 1 Quote Link to comment
