Adventure lab has a rating but no reviews?

I posted an adventure lab yesterday, and when i went to bed last night no one had found it. Woke up this morning and it had one 4-star rating, but no reviews. 
I’m new to adventure labs so are ratings different to reviews? Or is there something wrong and why can’t I see the review to go with the rating?

Yes, you can give a rating without a review or vice versa.

At least you as the owner of the adventure lab can look to see if someone has completed it but not left a review or rating. 

But as a player I may think I'm going after an adventure lab that no one has completed but they have. I really wish that statistic would show on the adventure lab preview.

What difference does it make if someone else has completed the AL or not?

Considering how many problems I have encountered being the first person to complete an adventure lab, it matters. Very bad coordinates, incorrect answers, typos in the answers, I've seen it all. Even if there are no reviews or ratings, I would like to know that someone else has completed it and I won't be the guinea pig.

Most of these problems--as well as some others--occur in geocaches as well.  And yet, there's always people who want to be the First To Find.  Never saw the attraction in that, myself.

Yes, but it is easy to know if a geocache has been found. An adventure lab may be found, but not known by other players.
