Just an FYI that this category showed up today. I came here to see if it had been discussed, and I don't see that it has.

 

Not sure it would be viable since we already have Ginormous Everyday Objects, but see what y'all think.

As I expressed in my denial this category description needs more work. Currently I'm not sure what they really want to accept. 

And as you pointed out there is also the category "Ginormous Everyday Objects" where the giant shoes might fit.

I don't understand the need for this category. An explanation would be more than welcome from the category group.

I wonder of there is a language issue? Could any French-speaking waymarkers reach out the the category-proposers and see? I also was unclear on what would be waymarked here.

French people, new waymarkers, i try to explain to the leader what is necessary to create a new category, we have a facebook discussion in one of the french Waymarking group

Now that the category has presumably been denied, can someone here who speaks French reach out to these folks and bring them here or help get them involved in the community? Let’s bring them into the hobby - the more the merrier
