Distance Indicator is not working correctly

The search Distance indicator is not working for me. I get hundreds to thousand of miles indications. The Distance From coordinates is correct.

Have you double-checked your “Home” coordinates setting in your  Profile?  I set mine to the coords of a nearby cache, you could do something similar.

I get the same results in Firefox and c.geo. I have removed the cookies.

It looks like it giving me the distance from me home location and not the search location. I thing this would be do my setting, but I can not find any the should cause this.

Since at least November, the "distance from" reported for any point other than "home" is incorrect making that search criteria useless!  I know this has been reported several tim es but nothing has been done about it. It is very frustrating to me, at least!
