mtncycler
There was a cache put together, with 8 travel bugs attatched to hot wheels cars. Their mission is to have their photos taken on both coasts of Canada, then to make their way back "home," the first one back, "wins." My question is this...one of the bugs has been lost. The owner of the bug AND cache, has used a 'replacement' bug to continue the race, is this right? Shouldn't the person be outta the race? Let me know your thoughts, Thanks Mtncycler(geocannonball ranch contestant) Quote Link to comment

Let me know your thoughts, Thanks Mtncycler(geocannonball ranch contestant) Depends on the rules of play I guess... sounds OK to me... bugs go missing and that's not the owner's fault. I say find the cacher that lost the bug and STONE HIM! Stone the *******! Just a thought DD "Either that wallpaper goes or I do!" Quote Link to comment
+StAlbert4
If they are starting back at the beginning point, what harm is it.... If they are picking up where they disappear, I agree that isn't fair... "An expert is a person who has made all the mistakes that can be made in a very narrow field." +Decodoppler
What is the collective noun for a group of adult "protective" undergarments? Perhaps it's a Dampness of Diapers DD "Either that wallpaper goes or I do!" Quote Link to comment
+Decodoppler
I visited the cache where all this seems to have started (looked on your found list) but there doesn't seem to be a link to a "RACE PROGRESS" page... or am I missing it? Thanks DD "Either that wallpaper goes or I do!" Quote Link to comment
+StAlbert4
Major hiccup when trying to post a reply "An expert is a person who has made all the mistakes that can be made in a very narrow field." (Niels Bohr) Quote Link to comment
+PDOP's
Don't feel bad about the duplicate posts. It's been happening to a lot of cachers myself included. To bad that they can't be deleted. Quote Link to comment
+canadazuuk
i been wondering, i see many duplicate, triplicate, quadruplicate posts the st albert 4, he he he, how fitting you can always edit the duplicates to nothing, or tell us a joke or two or three Quote Link to comment
+canadazuuk
i also note that the site prevents double posts now just try repeating a post by going 'back' and pressing submit again... you will get an error message Did they add this today????????????/ Quote Link to comment
+StAlbert4
For the record - I pressed submit the first time. The computer seemed to be hung up, I went 'back' and resubmitted one of the times. The other two times, I tried to repost. It's enough to make one blush. :I "An expert is a person who has made all the mistakes that can be made in a very narrow field." +PDOP's
All of that plus hitting the reply with quotes by accident instead of the edit function Deleting a post should be an option with a time limit just like editing. quote:Originally posted by The St. Albert 4:For the record - I pressed submit the first time.
