+j0ckser
A few weeks ago I logged a 'stage' of an Adventure Lab unintentionally. This was the last stage of a 5 stage AL, and on my phone, it showed as 'Completed'. I went to my AL finds list (labs.geocaching.com/logs), and deleted the offending log. The web page now shows that I have 4 for that AL, BUT my phone still shows that AL as 'Completed'. Is there a way to refresh my phone app to get it to update and change that AL back to 4? ..kind regards.. j0ckser Quote Link to comment

"Deleting" a find on the website only removes it from your caching stats. From the Help Centre: Delete an Adventure Lab® find From the Geocaches tab on your Geocaching.com Public Profile, select Lab Cache. Select the trash can next to the Lab Cache you want to delete. Note: Deleting a find for an Adventure decreases your find count on Geocaching.com but does not remove the find from the Adventure Lab app. It is currently not possible to remove a find from the Adventure Lab app. Quote Link to comment

I thought with geo-fencing and required answers, you not only have to be at the stage but have the information to successfully pass the "I was here" test. If you could do those things, shouldn't it count as a real "find"? 1 Quote Link to comment

Since no solution was mentioned in this thread may we get to know how you solved it? And could you also please tell how an "unintentional logging of an AL stage" can occure? Quote Link to comment
+Max and 99
I've only been able to come up with one possible scenario: I'm working on the mountain summit points, and wanted to save some AL locations for the next month. Instead, I accidentally logged it (having been there and known the answer) instead of waiting till the next mountain. Now, of course, that would be a moot point and the OP was posted on the last day of the promotion, so surely that's not it. Quote Link to comment
+j0ckser
I solved it by going to the web page for Lab caches, found the one I had 'deleted', and undeleted. As for the unintentional logging - I actually did log it, but my 'partner in crime' who is supposed to be logging in lockstep with me, did not. So I sought to delete so we could be in step. But that didn't solve the issue, it just created a new one. So, we'll have to find a different solution; but that's for another day. Quote Link to comment
