+SOLRAC TWO
<removed tracking number by mod>> CHECK POTTERY GEOCOIN FOUND. BUT IS NOT ACTIVATED YET. ANY IDEA WHO'S THE OWNER? Edited August 17, 2021 by BlueRajah Quote Link to comment
BlueRajah
Moved to this forum. It is a little more appropriate. You might include some more info. My assumption is someone dropped it there for the next finder. If it is not activated. I removed the tracking number from your post when moving it, we don't share those in the forums. 1 Quote Link to comment

If it is unactivated, then there is no "owner" - the owner is the one who activates it on their account. Maybe left as a gift for a future finder? 1 Quote Link to comment

ANY IDEA WHO'S THE OWNER? I guess we're assuming the tracking code was a legit Geocaching.com. code. The ones we've seen, the code's on the edge side of the "coin". By the scan, you haven't come back for a response yet. I'd say since you found it, it's yours. We leave unactivated coins in caches, in hopes to get people to walk a bit. It might have been a FTF prize too. - Coins similar (we've found) the finder didn't notice the code circling the edge and leave it, thinking it's swag. Quote Link to comment

IIRC, the creator used wood, leather, glass, and stone discs as well, and opinions on the word "coin" were mixed at the time. Quote Link to comment
