DiverKai 1 Posted August 6, 2019 Is there a way to search for Adventure Lab caches by location? I'm going on Vacation and really dont want to scroll through 4,000 miles sorted by closest to me to plan ahead. Quote Share this post Link to post

DiverKai 1 Posted August 7, 2019 Thanks guys, but nothings coming up. Its strange there isn't a search feature by coords or city. Does anyone know a way I can fake my iPhone in to thinking its somewhere else, then I can open the app?? 1 Quote Share this post Link to post
+arisoft 824 Posted August 7, 2019 Try this or other similar ones. https://apps.apple.com/us/app/fake-gps-location/id1291822089 Quote Share this post Link to post
DiverKai 1 Posted August 7, 2019 looks like that and the others like it basically just add a "dot" to a map so you can pretend you are somewhere- a couple also change the location in a photo, but none actually change the location in the phone/gps itself. Quote Share this post Link to post

You are right. This seems to be somehow limited. I am using another brand where a fake gps app works like a real gps receiver. Quote DISCLAIMER: This app is purely for entertainment purpose only and it does not change the true location of the mobile device. It would be a miracle if an app could change the real location of the device. Please, read more https://www.lifewire.com/fake-gps-location-4165524 There is a chapter for "iPhone Location Spoofing" Quote Share this post Link to post
+baer2006 791 Posted August 11, 2019 The latest update of the Adventure Lab app features a kind of "browse map" for Adventure Lab Caches. Quote Share this post Link to post

It's a good start (after waiting 8 months) but not great for the adventures spread on hundreds of km/miles. They only show as one point. I didn't even know that there are ALC whose locations are spread over such long distances. OTOH, there's nothing in the guidelines that forbids it... 1 Quote Share this post Link to post
