Is it possible to hide forums so they simply don't appear in my view.  I have no interest in the Geocaching® iPhone App or the Geocaching® Android App forums.  In the Geocache Types and Additional GPS Based Gameplay forum I'm only interested in Earthcaches, Events and Lab caches sub-forums.

If there any way I can hide those that I'm not interested in?

Thanks

Tony

Similar to before, you can go to the top far right of that forum group and toggle the area closed.

The grey down arrow.

It covers the entire area though, for example this website forums would be included with iphone and android.

IIRC, the older version would close only those you didn't want to see, or maybe they were grouped differently....

If you have an activity list saved and bookmarked, you can select which areas are visible. I effectively 'ignored' the off topic area by telling it show me everything else except.

So when viewing the stream, at the top there's an option for Content Type. Dropdown, and next to what you select (I choose Topics) is an option cog. Drop that down and select the forums you want to include.

Yep - I had to indicate specific forums to 'follow' and exclude Off-Topic from that list, in order to get that forum out of my activity stream.

However, the problem with the topic/forum selection is that 'following' doesn't seem to work flawlessly.  Especially with sub-forums.  For example, if you want to follow only the "Canada" subforum in the "Geocaching discussions by country" forum, then seeing 'new content' doesn't work.  The issue has been identified by a couple other forum posters, like HERE and HERE.
