+Atlas Cached
Well now I cant wait to get home and dust off my Oregon 750t and see how many of these bug fixes actually work! Great news! Thank You! Quote Link to comment
+Atlas Cached
My oregon 750t will not take the update. Just ignores it, reboots as normal, and the GCD file is gone. Anyone else get their 7xx to take 262 gcd? Quote Link to comment

+Atlas Cached
Had to downgrade to previous firmware then it took the 262 OK. At one point, I had a Garmindevice.xml that showed 2.62 and a system.xml that showed 2.60 - all good now though (I think) Edited October 28, 2016 by Atlas Cached Quote Link to comment

+baloo&bd
Do the betas use a different numbering scheme, because my unit is on the relase of 2.70? Quote Link to comment
+Red90
2.70 is a regular release that came out after the 2.62 beta. Quote Link to comment
+mikeD
Yes the Gold master version is 2.7. Did an update via Garmin express. The pages on live GCing are better Down loading PQ/LISTS is better now The lists page shows status is synced / not synced for each list At long last after 3 months I have got it to load a list to the device, painfully slow It first loads the "headers" fairly quickly and then says other data will be loaded in the background. Flip back to the list screen and it will show % loading progress. Really slow I can only do this via Bluetooth and the iPhone app G Connect The iPhone is connected via Wi-Fi however It will not load lists only via Wi-Fi, it just fails. I have an" issue" registered with garmin technical to resolve It shows weather, emails etc on " straight" Wi-Fi but not load lists The good thing is that the PQ is being fully loaded, logs, hints, descriptions etc. This is the first time this has happened in 3 months since new and now I don't need to hook up to the pc!. Fingers crossed However it will take a long time to sync 1000 gc's Quote Link to comment
capt caper
I was hoping 2.7 would fix our issue in the 700. When we start the day we reset all trip and track data... and at the end of the day save the track. When downloaded into BC it always show a straight line from the last turn on.. What are we doing wrong? Quote Link to comment

What are we doing wrong? The one with the straight line should be the active track. If you saved a track, there should be another one without the straight line. Quote Link to comment

When you save your track, it shows the filename it's going to use on the screen. Mine defaults to the date and time for the filename. You can change it to something more meaningful if you like. When you go to import the track into BaseCamp, look for the same file name. You typically don't want to import the current track. Quote Link to comment
capt caper
I don't get the lines when downloading saved tracks..even the named ones in my Monterra.. just this Oregon 700.. And I see that the saved track is connected...to the line..to the last turn on or use location.. I'll work more with it since it's new.. but I never get this with the Monterra and my Montana that I had I believe. Again we clear the trip and current track data before the hike and after it's got its fix..I check the Trip computer and it shows that it has cleared but again after downloading the track (saved at the end of the hike, etc.) it has lines coming to it from the previous fix say at home or whatever..
