But when returning home I notice that some aren't logged anymore when I check the website. There are some ordinary reasons why logs with "photos" may not be available after posting. Without specifics, we can only guess. You may have to ask Geocaching.com via email: http://support.Groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=request Refer to the specific caches, and approximate dates of the logs in question. Some questions to help track down the issue 1) Are you seeing this happen with all photo logs, or just occasionally? 2) Do you know if you were offline/out of service when you sent the logs? 3) What version of android is your phone running? +J Grouchy 576 Posted August 23, 2016 logs, plural of log photos, plural of photo No apostrophes necessary. Share this post Link to post
+Penguin_be 0 Posted August 23, 2016 Most photo logs, but also without photo 100% sure in service Android 6.0.1 Share this post Link to post
+jjpooter&crew 0 Posted August 27, 2016 Just got an LGG5 and downloaded the newest app for the game. My last few caches are not showing up online after they are posted. I reposted one of them and it's still not here, and I posted the first one on geocaching day! Sad now. Share this post Link to post
+longwhatton34 0 Posted September 13, 2016 I am having the same issue. Just got a Wileyfox Swift last week. At the time of logging it appears to register as the number of finds increases by one each time. But then when I look on the website later they're not listed as finds on my profile. It only happens with logs including photos taken with the app as far as I can tell. Share this post Link to post
+longwhatton34 0 Posted September 14, 2016 Actually, forget that. I just tried logging a find WITHOUT a photo and then checked on the website as well as c:geo and it hadn't logged it on either of them despite the Geocaching app telling me it had worked. Is this going to be sorted? It sounds as if it's not just me having problems with it. Share this post Link to post
+-OZZ- 0 Posted October 1, 2016 None of my logs with photos are posting, either in the new app or the classic app. Never had any issues before and I haven't changed the way i do it. Share this post Link to post
+-OZZ- 0 Posted October 1, 2016 Logs with photos attached work fine on iOS devices so it's specific to android. Share this post Link to post
st33v3 0 Posted October 6, 2016 This has happened to me for the last 3-4 caches I found (with photos). LG G5 in Canada. Share this post Link to post
+-OZZ- 0 Posted October 11, 2016 Still not posting logs with photos. Giving it a few more months otherwise the subscription is ceasing, a once fun past time is increasingly getting frustrating. Share this post Link to post
+OneEighth 2 Posted October 19, 2016 (edited) Having the same issue. I didn't realize until reading this thread that they all had one thing in common, and that was they had photos attached using the in app photo thing. In service Android v.6.0.1 Edit: I had two of my missing logs show up something like a month later randomly. I had to go back and delete the duplicates which threw off my numbers and my intentional Milestones. Edited October 19, 2016 by OneEighth Share this post Link to post
rocketgarden 9 Posted October 19, 2016 Okay so I've looked into this and I did find a problem with the way the app was handling image attachments in a certain narrow case. Specifically, on phones running newer versions of Android, images attached to logs with the "Choose Image" option (instead of Take Photo) would become inaccessible if the log didn't send quickly enough, and then the log would sit in the unsent queue forever while it tried to load up the inaccessible image. Good news: I've put in a fix for that problem and it should go out with the next release. However, if you're seeing a problem with "Take Photo" logs, or logs with no image attached, that's a separate problem we don't know about, and I encourage anyone having the problem to get in touch with our support team so we can find the issue and fix it, or possibly post here if you have solid repro steps Share this post Link to post
+-OZZ- 0 Posted October 23, 2016 The Classic app and the new app aren't posting logs with images attached. Last log with an image that got posted was on the 24th September since then nothing. Share this post Link to post
