how do I get the number of caches I have found to show on the logs

Hi, I am new to geocaching and I noticed I see every one else's number caches they found on the logs but mine just says found today and my name. Is there a setting I need to change?

Welcome to the forums.

 

The only way I know to do this automatically is to use GSAK to do your logging.

 

There's nothing stopping you from manually inserting your find number into the log but you would have to keep track of the number yourself.

Have you looked at your logs today? I just looked and see that all of your logs say the same as your profile does -- 90.

If you want to stay "up" with things in real-time, it sometimes is necessary to refresh your page.

The find total of a cacher is displayed under their name, and is refreshed as you refresh pages on the site. It is not a part of the log I write for a cache, but if I wanted, there are third-party apps that will amend that information to my log.

Of interest -- all of the logs I have been getting lately from the API have the user's found / hidden counts appended to the caching name already ..

 

E.g.., they'll start out with

4/6/2015, waawhoo (F=1224 H=15)
